Tripods come in every size, but for somebody like me, who most often takes photos while traveling and who likes traveling light, a good, compact travel tripod is a must.

For the last few years I’ve been using a tripod from the Traveler series by Gitzo and I’ve been more than happy with it, but recently a friend of mine got himself the Brian, from 3 Legged Thing and told me he was ecstatic about it. So, as soon as I could, I borrowed it from him and gave it a quick test drive.

In the video below, you can see my presentation of this tripod and my impressions about it. It’s a really short video, but if you are just looking for the conclusions, let me tell you that I really liked it. I liked it so much that I am considering selling my Gitzo and getting one.
