VW13 – RAW Processing Assignment Critique

Welcome to Visual Wilderness Episode #13, where we talk about our May assignment. This one was a little different from the others. We provided a RAW file, and asked members to process it and share the results. We were impressed by the variety and creativity of the finished images!

To see all the entries and find out more about the assignment (or even try it yourself!) visit: May’ 2014 Assignment: RAW Processing

In this episode, Jay shows his own approach to the assignment, and offers tips for using Photoshop’s Blending mode.

About Author Jay Patel

I could startoff like this – “Seeds of Jay Patel’s appreciation for beautiful places were planted early in his childhood….” but it would get boring really fast. I will just sum it up and say that I am a Landscape and Wilderness Photographer who loves to capture dramatic light. My photographs have been published in various magazines, calendars and advertising materials throughout the world.
