Packing our gear is always a challenge. We have a lot to carry, so we need to make the most of every square centimeter in our camera bags. Bulky cases take up space that could be used for other purposes – but our filters need to be protected. Several years ago, Varina decided she could make a better filter case than any she’d seen on the market – so she threw together a quick prototype to try out her idea. The prototype worked so well that she never bothered to revise it and make a better one… that is, until students started noticing her design and asking if they could get one.

Nature is incredibly diverse. Burning desert sands and mossy riverbanks… Brilliant sunbeams and fading alpenglow… Silent snowfall and raging summer storms… Each offers a unique opportunity.
