Post-Processing Workflow to Avoid Sharpening Halos
Post processing is good for bringing your vision to the final photograph. What you saw, felt, and heard affects how you approach your final image. It is subjective and it is that personal style that sets you apart from other photographers.
But, there are post-processing issues that, although hard to see on a computer screen, scream out loud and clear when enlarged in print form. One such issue are the dreaded sharpening halos.
What is a Sharpening Halo?
It is the black or white line/halo that happens when you have either over sharpened or added too much detail to an image.
