As a landscape photographer, I have no problem with the statement National parks are one of America’s best ideas. I started my photography career in Yosemite National Park with a point-n-shoot camera and absolutely no idea of how to take photos. In the early days, I was often disappointed from the results of the camera. What kept me going was the inspiration offered by the beauty and grandeur of the national parks and the experience of being out in pristine wilderness areas.
Over the last 100 years, national parks have been inspiring amateur photographers and nature lover from all over the world. Besides offering inspiration, these parks offer very tangible benefits including preserving bio-diversity, economic resources, education, and personal health and well-being.
So, here are few images that showcase the sheer beauty of our national parks. I hope they inspire you to go outside and play… and to help preserve these natural treasures for generations to come.
